Over 50 million vaccines administered in Britain, and not a single dose protested against by even a solitary Vegan.
Not one of those thousands of vaccine centres has had a single Vegan protesting outside? not a single placard waved, not a single slogan screamed. It seems that animal cruelty is perfectly ok when it's to do with virus hysteria and imaginary pandemics.
We've all been preached to incessantly by celebrity vegans, Extinction Rebellion, and that annoying woman at work who told us we're murderers. Yet something that has been tested on animals, all of which died as a result, has not only received no protestation from the Vegan community, but has been taken by thousands of Vegans abandoning their morals the second that it suits.
When vaccines were launched a BBC reporter asked Matt Hancock if they contained any animal product, and he said they didn't, the implication was they were both safe for Muslims worried about Pork products and Vegans who won't consume anything made from animals.
But this was only a half truth as ALL of the vaccines, indeed all medicines, have to go through animal testing before being licenced. No exceptions, no waivers, and no Vegan friendly line, for any medicines, and Covid-vaccines are no exception.
According to experts, all of the monkeys experimented on subsequently died: as we reported previously: The vaccine failed its animal trials: Dr William Haseltine, a former Harvard Medical School professor who had a pivotal role in the development of early HIV/Aids treatments said about the trial failure; "All of the vaccinated monkeys treated with the Oxford vaccine became infected when challenged as judged by recovery of virus genomic RNA from nasal secretions," Writing in Forbes Dr Haseltine went on to say: "There was no difference in the amount of viral RNA detected from this site in the vaccinated monkeys as compared to the unvaccinated animals. Which is to say, all vaccinated animals were infected," Whilst Dr. Dolores Cahill, professor of Molecular Genetics, School of Medicine at University College Dublin said of the AstraZeneca trials: "..what happened in the animal studies, 20% or 50% or 100% of the animals died".
With so many dead monkeys from vaccine trials, you'd think Vegans would have been at every vaccine centre, blocking the entrance and screaming at those in the queue, not joining them in it.
The UK Vegan Society has issued a statement acknowledging the essential use of animals in Covid-19 vaccine development. The Society acted after a debate on social media, about the use of monkeys and rodents in studies to develop the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine - approved for use in the UK last week - had led some vegans to denounce the vaccine. While not asking members to take the vaccine the Vegan Society statement encouraged them to look after their own health, and stressed that animals play a fundamental role in the development of vaccines and other medicines. “At this stage it is impossible to have a vaccine that has been created without animal use,” the society said. It also reminded its members of the definition of veganism which ‘recognises that it is not always possible or practicable to avoid animal use, which is particularly relevant to medical situations’.
Pathetic. Ecomentalists last week protested outside McDonalds distribution centres, on the same day as 460,000 vaccines were administered. Could it be that Veganism has fuck-all to do with Animal welfare and everything to do with destroying capitalism?
