The World Health Organisation has warned that a worse pandemic than the current one could be around the corner and that COVID is “not necessarily the big one”.
This mirrors the demented over-reaction to the influenza pandemic of 2008 when many in the NHS and CDC ran around like headless chickens convinced that it was 'the big one'. Now, the World Health Organisation is admitting, in a roundabout way, that they may have overreacted again.
Of course, WHO have never admitted that they've got any of their predictions wrong, even though they repeatedly have, and they are not doing that here either, so to diminish 'Covid' to the state that it should be they have invented the idea of an even more deadly pandemic in the future as a comparison.
The head of the WHO emergencies program, Dr Mike Ryan, said during a media briefing that “this pandemic has been very severe … it has affected every corner of this planet. But this is not necessarily the big one.” What he meant was that draconian rules and hysteria have affected every corner of the planet, and not the virus itself. But unphased by this small technicality he continues “We live in an increasingly complex global society. These threats will continue. If there is one thing we need to take from this pandemic, with all of the tragedy and loss, is we need to get our act together. We need to honour those we’ve lost by getting better at what we do every day,” And that's not cringe-worthy at all either.
Elsewhere during the briefing, WHO chief scientist Dr Soumya Swaminathan said that the roll out of vaccines does not mean social distancing or mask wearing can go away, despite that being what we were repeatedly promised: Remember: 'just wear this mask and become a hermit until a vaccine comes along' well Swaminathan doesn't.
The comments come after Swaminathan warned that the restrictive lockdown measures won’t let up until “the end of 2021” when “population immunity” is achieved. Something we would have had a lot fuckin' sooner if we hadn't delayed it with repeated house arrest of course. The mindless technocrat then stated: “It’s going to take till the end of 2021 till we start seeing some level of population immunity coming up in some countries,”
This comes on the same day that it was announced only 388 people aged under 60 with 'no underlying health conditions' have died of Covid in England's hospitals. that's not a misprint, that is the actual government statistic. We have crashed an economy, destroy thousands of peoples lives and futures, and run up a £218Billion tax bill for that. That is a cost of £56million per person, but if you are harmed by any Covid Vaccine the most you will get is £10,000 from the Government, and any benefits you may receive would be immediately stopped, which is all nice to know.
But the financial cost of all this is nothing compared to the assault on civil liberties. The International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (IDEA), based in Sweden, has found that the majority of nations across the globe have implemented COVID related restrictions that have severely eroded the liberties of their citizens permanently. The study revealed that 61 per cent of countries have used restrictions “that were concerning from a democracy and human rights perspective.” ‘These [restrictions] violated democratic standards because they were either disproportionate, illegal, indefinite or unnecessary in relation to the health threat,” the group declared in its report.
Some commentators have also pointed to the fact that, once the first lockdown was successfully imposed, it will be easier to impose others, with any number of 'reasons' used to justify house arrest of millions. A new 'mutant' strain has already been used (but can and will be used again) and, as this announcement is clearly laying the foundations for another another 'pandemic' we will all be less surprised when it begins. Some are even suggesting Climate change will be used as the next 'justification' for the removal of all our civil liberties. With the WHO already calling it a "greater threat to world health than Covid" it is more than a possibility.
