Thought Crime: Conor McGregor Investigated for Speaking Out Against Mass Migration

Unleashing controversy: Conor McGregor under investigation for daring to voice concerns on mass migration.

The mixed martial artist, professional boxer, and former UFC champion, Conor McGregor, is being investigated by Irish authorities after drawing attention to the mass migration effects on the indiginous Irish population.

McGregor’s comments came in the wake of the vicious stabbing of three primary school children in Dublin, committed by an Algerian immigrant who had failed to intergrate into Irish society, and who was guilty of a previous knife-attack only months before.

Following the attack Irish authorities attempted to control the narrative by steering it away from immigration issuing a statement claiming that the stabber was 'an Irish citizen' with the usual follow-up claims that anthing else circulating on social media was 'misinformation'. It was later confirmed that the man was Algerian, had been in the country since 2001 but had never attempted to intergrate into Irish society.

Conor McGregor critised Police responses to the incident, and that critism quickly came to their attention as they have reportly been monitoring social media accounts for any mention of incident.

McGregor said "“Innocent children ruthlessly stabbed by a mentally deranged non-national in Dublin, Ireland today. Our chief of police had this to say on the riots in the aftermath. Drew, not good enough. There is grave danger among us in Ireland that should never be here in the first place, and there has been zero action done to support the public in any way, shape or form with this frightening fact. NOT GOOD ENOUGH. Make change or make way. Ireland for the victory God bless those attacked today, we pray.”

Nothing racist, nothing even hateful, but in 2023 you cannot critise the government.

Despite McGregor’s subsequent statements distancing himself from illegal activities, his online utterances landed him at the center of a hate speech investigation by the Gardai, the Irish police.

A report from The Times announced, “McGregor’s posts are being evaluated by the gardai as part of a probe into the propagation of online hate speech.”
