Facebook are banning ‘conspiracy theories’ about the Covid-19 virus, as determined by someone who worked at the Wuhan bio-lab.
The social media giant has announced that it will 'intercept' any Coronavirus related posts that do not adhere to the World Health Organisation's view of the virus's origins. This is said to be to prevent what facebook deems "misinformation". If users 'like' or try to click-on a post that it deems false the user will receive a warning message and be redirected to a World Health Organisation backed site called “Get The Facts,” where “conspiracy theories” about coronavirus are debunked.
Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg wrote on his Facebook page on Thursday, “Through this crisis, one of my top priorities is making sure that you see accurate and authoritative information across all of our apps.”
The problem with all this is The World Health Organisation have promoted their own fake news about Coronavirus. The organisation parroted the patently false claims of the Communist Chinese government regarding the spread of the Covid-19. Fake News far more dangerous than anything created by individuals. Fake News that the Communist Chinese government created, and which the WHO repeated has directly contributed to this global pandemic, the loss of tens of thousands of lives, 10 million Americans jobs, and the crashing of the world's economy to the tune of several trillion.
Facebook appear to have doubled-down on this farce and are likely to face an even bigger problem with getting users to trust it once it's general knowledge that a key ‘fact checker’ was revealed to have worked at the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV), and has since been placed in charge of debunking articles suggesting that COVID-19 may have leaked from the bio-lab.
Banning ‘misinformation’ about the virus, as determined by someone who worked in the Wuhan bio-lab, is bad enough, but the fact that Facebook are again trampling all over the FIRST AMENDMENT will anger many Americans who see Facebook as an integral part of the MSM Fake News Machine itself.
