“We’re Going to Make Sure Trump Leaves” threatens Shut Down DC activists.
For weeks now the mainstream media have been peddling the idea that Trump will refuse to leave the White House if he loses the forthcoming presidential election. There's no evidence of this of course, nor has he even hinted at such a thing. Media outlets both sides of the atlantic have allowed Democratic politicians, activists and celebs to claim Trump will 'steal the election' completely failing to challenge any of them on this ludicrous idea.
Now a far left group is vowing to “make sure Trump leaves” the White House after the election, even if he wins, and are prepared to 'storm and occupy DC' to do it. The Shut Down DC group says it will “be in the streets before the polls even close,” asserting that “Trump will not leave office without mass mobilisation and direct action.”
“On Election Day, when you’re done voting, doing election protection, or getting out the vote, come join us at Black Lives Matter Plaza,” states the group’s manifesto. “We’re inviting everybody who agrees with these organizing principles to work together to make this uprising happen. We’re going to make sure Trump leaves.”
The extremist group is planning to block highways, shut down ports and occupy state capitols if Trump “tries to steal the election” (ie wins it), while also vowing to harass members of Congress at their own homes.
The media, who peddled the lie Trump was involved with Russia, which was debunked but received no retraction, are now pushing the lie he will 'steal' the election, hyping-up already angered far left groups who believe their Trump caricature as a pantomime villain that they can boo and hiss at when he comes on stage.
It's a clever lie, as, whatever the result of the election, Trump can be painted as the loser, and the villain, confirming what activist groups think anyway.
