The Government are continuing to deceive the British public about the issuing of 'Freedom Passes'. Whilst they won't mandate them they continue to apply pressure on the Hospitality and Travel industries to do their dirty-work for them. Although Boris Johnson claimed that Vaccines would not be mandatory as that is not the British way, without proof that you have had the shot it will be almost impossible to live any sort of normal life in the UK as you will be barred from entering Pubs; Restaurants; Sporting Venues; Public Transport and from all international travel.
Sky News have reported that the NHS will issue everyone vaccinated against coronavirus an ‘immunisation identity card’, stating that the government have refused to 'rule them out' becoming mandatory but it is more likely that they will leave it to the hospitality and travel industries to 'police' their use.
The rollout of vaccinations begins in the UK this week, and photos of record cards reveal wording on them reading “Make sure you keep this record card in your purse or wallet“.
The card has a space for the name and batch number of the vaccine, as well as the date that it was injected. A second space denotes the fact that Pfizer’s shot requires two vaccinations.
The Sky image, though probably a mock-up, does resemble the likely first wave of these documents, but the eventual pass will be a QR code stored on your mobile phone's Track and Trace App (part of its original intended use)
In a Radio 4 interview two weeks ago The Vaccine Minister Nadhim Zahawi said: The NHS’ ‘track and trace’ app, the use of which was implemented as a requirement to enter bars and restaurants, was a pretext for the vaccine eventually being made mandatory to enter such venues. adding “I think you’ll find that restaurants and bars and cinemas and other venues, football stadiums, will probably also use that system,”

The idea for such Permission Passes came from A government department called The Behavioural Insights Team (BIT) (also known unofficially as the 'Nudge Unit'), who were previous responsible for a paper advising the government on how best to instill fear in the public to comply with lockdown rules, have now suggested that wristbands could be the answer to lockdown measures and curfews. The BIT Team had been inspired by other countries who have already begun to offer people a false choice: Have Vaccine or stay under house arrest. Faced with this choice 97% of people complied.
We reported back in May that plans for a vaccine passport were being drawn up and, at the time, this was dismissed as a 'conspiracy theory'. However, this has proved to be true, with many Airlines insisting you must prove you're Covid-free before you can travel, whilst every major UK airport now has 'rapid testing' facilities meaning that a health examination is required before plane travel for the first time in history.
