Few people had heard of Black Lives Matter before the death of George Floyd. A few had warned us that they were not what they seemed, but those people were dismissed as conspiracy theorists, hysterical or just plain racists. Even when evidence began to emerge online, and their mask began to slip, the catchy phrase that is their title, still defied people to disagree and garnered the useful idiots into doing their bidding for them.
One such opportunist is Gary McFarlane, a prominent member of the Socialist Workers Party (SWP) who has condoned the shooting of 'racist police officers', has claimed on television to be a Black Lives Matter organiser and has called for the good old Communist favourite: a “revolution”. McFarlane, who was photographed next to the actor John Boyega at a protest in London’s Hyde Park this month, in recent days has claimed that there was no violence by any BLM protesters, 'only by the police' who he believes to be tools of a racist state.
This week the SWP ran a series of online Zoom sessions for its members entitled “BLM: Racism, resistance and revolution meetings” in which members discussed how they could capitalise on the movement and planned how they could further manipulate the crisis to bring about the dystopian world they're so desperate to create for us.
Given the true nature of this organisation it is no surprise that their list of demands is almost identical to that of every other Far-Left organisations, with the addition of a few Black-centric obsessions and appears to get longer every day. these include:
Defunding of the Police
Legalisation of all forms of drugs
Dismantling of prisons in their current form
Reparation for slavery
The end of white supremacy
Dismantle capitalism
End of Imperialism
BLM’s GoFundMe page should be a wake-up call for anybody who believes in democracy and law and order. Their vow to ‘dismantle capitalism’ is copybook Communism (why is it, it doesn't matter what the cause, from Climate Change to LGBTQ rights, dismantling capitalism is always at the root of it? ). BLM also want to “develop and deliver training, police monitoring and strategies for the abolition of police”. To spy on, then abolish the police and replace it with something ideologically controlled, is meat and drink Marxism.
There list of goals and demands appear incoherent and is likely because there are a number of groups that are using the movement for their own ends. Most notably on their About page they have this statement:
"We are guided by the fact that all Black lives matter, regardless of actual or perceived sexual identity, gender identity, gender expression, economic status, ability, disability, religious beliefs or disbeliefs, immigration status, or location. We make space for transgender brothers and sisters to participate and lead. We are self-reflexive and do the work required to dismantle cisgender privilege and uplift Black trans folk, especially Black trans women who continue to be disproportionately impacted by trans-antagonistic violence."
In case you missed it, this is Intersectionality, where disparate groups who have no real common interests coalesce around a common enemy; that enemy being White Hetrosexuals, the last socio-group it's acceptable to hate.
As this progresses, expect to see more Communist-style characteristics from BLM, as they are emboldened by the left wing media and the intellectual middle-classes. This will ultimately see them going too far. At the moment, their catchy name gets them the support of well meaning people, but when those same people realise that BLM are coming for them too, their momentum will be lost. How much of British society will they have been destroyed before that happens remains to be seen.
