THOUGHT CRIME: Creator of Father Ted Arrested by Armed Police for Having the WRONG OPINION

ree

Graham Linehan, co-creator of hit comedies Father Ted and the IT Crowd has been arrested at Heathrow Airport just minutes after landing.

Linehan was reportedly snatched by five armed police officers just minutes after disembarking from a flight from New York.

According to reports, Linehan was arrested for Twitter posts that he'd made back in April in which he vaguely criticised Trans ideology.  This was enough for the comedy writer to be arrested by armed officers from Metropolitan police.

Linehan said in a Substack article that his bail condition also stipulates he is "not to go on Twitter" and that his arrest related to three posts on the platform in April, where he challenged "a trans-identified male" in "a female-only space".

The writer also reported that during the arrest he became unwell and police had to rush him to hospital.  The police appeared unconcerned with Linehan's condition, issuing a curt statement after the event saying his condition was "neither life-threatening nor life-changing". This is in stark contrast to the Trans 'woman' who was so traumatised by Linehan's hurty-words that police had to arrest him at gunpoint the moment he set foot on British soil.

The five police officers who arrested Linehan were all carrying firearms, with Metropolitan police later claiming that this was 'just standard practice' and that it was routine for officers policing airports to carry firearms. They also added "These were not drawn or used at any point during the arrest."

It was thought that the Supreme Court's Ruling on what constitutes a woman would protect free speech such as this, however, the arrest of Graham Linehan for an 'anti-trans' tweet sends a chilling message to the public that they still run the real risk of being arrested for saying anything against Trans ideology. Linehan's particular tweets were posted before the ruling with came the following week which has raised more questions about the authorities actions.
