The first film produced by former president Obama and his wife Michelle, released on Netflix, has won the Oscar for Best Documentary.
Whilst accepting the award, the filmmakers recited an extract from Karl Marx's Communist Manifesto. Julia Reichert of "American Factory" received the award and said '..working people have it harder and harder these days - and we believe that things will get better when workers of the world unite!".
As Julia Reichert will undoubtedly know, the term "workers of the world unite" is a direct quote from Karl Marx Communist Manifesto. Obama praised Riechert at the ceremony and on twitter.
