David Lammy is Thick as Sh*t

There's no two ways about it: David Lammy is as THICK AS SHIT. When he was in the shadow cabinet he couldn't do much harm, but now, as Foreign Secretary his stupidity is a national embarrassment, not to mention, a danger to us all.

David Lammy, the Britain's Foreign Secretary is an embarrassment, there is no two ways about it; he's painfully, stupendously thick. In the shadow cabinet he was harmless, and we could laugh at him for the stupid things he said, but now, as Foreign Secretary he's dragging us all down, not to mention into a third world war.

While the mainstream media attempts to portray Lammy as an intelligent and compassionate voice for the underprivileged, his countless gaffes and embarrassing blunders reveal a man woefully out of his depth. Britain deserves better than someone like Lammy, whose lack of intellect is a threat to the country’s future.

Confused Archbishop Desmond Tutu with Samual L Jackson.

Lammy's catalogue of mistakes are too numerous to list here but here's some that stand out: In 2019, during an interview on live radio, Lammy claimed that he had met with “Samuel L. Jackson” to discuss civil rights issues. It turns out that Lammy had met with Archbishop Desmond Tutu and not the Actor, Lammy appeared confused when he was told that he'd actually met the Archbishop and not the famous Hollywood star. Not only is it embarrassing, but it also exposes the fragility of Lammy’s understanding and attention to detail.

Thought Marie Antoinette won the Nobel Prize for Chemistry

Few remember that back in 2008 Lammy made an appearance on Celebrity Mastermind, where he donned glasses to make himself appear more intelligent, they clearly didn't help as in the General Knowledge round Lammy failed to score a single point, saying only the most ridiculous of things as answers: He thought Marie Antoinette was who won the Nobel Prize for Chemistry, that the 2003 Rose Revolution took place in Yugoslavia, and that Henry VII succeeded Henry VIII.

Mistook pictures of the Vietnam war as images of D-Day

In 2018, he displayed his complete lack of historical knowledge when he tweeted about commemorating D-Day by including pictures of American soldiers landing on the beaches of Vietnam! Yes, you read that correctly—Vietnam. This is Britain's Foreign Secretary remember, someone who claims to be well-versed in history and geopolitics, Lammy clearly doesn't have a grasp of even the most basic historical facts; yet when called out for the blunder, did he own up to his mistake? No. He doubled down, digging an even deeper hole, further demonstrating his inability to admit fault on top of a lack of basic knowledge about the second world war —not a quality you want in any politician but in a Foreign Secretary, incredibly dangerous.

Calls everyone he doesn't like 'NAZIS'

It’s not just his gaffes that reveal a lack of intelligence, but his often reckless rhetoric. Lammy has repeatedly displayed a stunning inability to grasp the consequences of his words. Take his unhinged comparison of the European Research Group (ERG)—a group of Conservative MPs—to the Nazi Party. This outrageous statement wasn’t just factually incorrect, it was incredibly dangerous, trivializing one of the most horrific regimes in modern history for the sake of cheap political points. Any intelligent politician would understand that drawing such comparisons can only polarize and divide the nation further. Instead of fostering debate, Lammy opted for the politics of smear and slander, showing once again that he lacks the intellect and foresight required for high office.

Lack of critical thinking

It’s not just a question of intelligence—Lammy’s lack of critical thinking makes him a threat to Britain. With people like him in positions of influence, we risk a future where the government is run on emotion and knee-jerk reactions rather than reasoned debate and informed decision-making. He repeatedly demonstrates a knee-jerk impulse to brand anyone who disagrees with him as racist or fascist. This tactic does nothing but shut down discussion and create an environment where dissenting voices are silenced. Is this the kind of man we want shaping policy and leading national conversations?

Obsessed with identity politics

Then there’s his constant obsession with identity politics. Lammy often focuses on divisive issues, stoking the flames of racial tension. Instead of offering real, intelligent solutions to the problems Britain faces—whether that be housing, education, or the economy—Lammy plays the victim card at every opportunity. His insistence on framing every debate around race and colonialism shows not just a lack of intelligence, but also a lack of maturity. He seems more interested in fuelling division than finding common ground, a quality that is not just unbecoming of a politician, but dangerous for the country.

Called all Brexiteers "Xenophobic"

When it comes to representing Britain on the international stage, Lammy's lack of foresight and intelligence would be disastrous. He has been a vocal opponent of Brexit, labeling those who voted to leave as "xenophobic". This narrow-minded view ignores the complex reasons that 17.4 million people chose to vote for Brexit, and it shows how out of touch Lammy is with the will of the British people. How can someone so detached from reality claim to represent the public’s interests?

David Lammy’s repeated gaffes, his inflammatory rhetoric, and his obsession with identity politics reveal a politician who is far from intelligent. His lack of understanding, both of history and the present political landscape, is not just embarrassing—it’s dangerous. Britain needs leaders with intellect, wisdom, and a genuine understanding of the issues that face the nation. Unfortunately, David Lammy falls woefully short on all counts.

I've always thought that Lammy could be the lovechild of Dianne Abbott and Idi Amin!
