At 11pm today: 31st January 2020, Britain finally leaves the European Union. Boris Johnson, in a video message to be broadcast at 10pm, will hail it the 'dawn of a new era' as we leave following 47 years of membership. In his message Johnson will go on to say Brexit is 'not an end but a beginning' describing the historic moment as "a moment of real national renewal and change"
