ANNOUNCEMENT: THE END OF VISION NEWS ONLINE

It is with deep regret that the management of Vision News has decided to close this website due to ongoing and sustained censorship by the gatekeepers of the internet.

We have been systematically shadow-banned by Google, Facebook, Twitter/X, YouTube, and others, and have faced concerted efforts by the establishment to shut us down, block our reach, or label us a “conspiracy” website. This campaign has strangled our circulation to such an extent that our visibility is now virtually zero. The situation has become unsustainable, and the executive team has therefore taken the difficult decision to bring Vision News to an end.

Vision News was founded in 2019 as an alternative voice to the left-wing bias of the BBC. In 2020, we were the only news site reporting truthfully on the pandemic. We told the public what the establishment did not want them to know. We exposed the reality of lockdowns, vaccines, fake science, and deaths. As a result, we were placed on a government watch list and blocked across every major platform. Even Google ensured we were invisible in search results. Despite this, we pressed on.

In 2023, we again broke major ground by exposing the 15-minute city agenda. This brought both positive and negative attention. Our reporting was picked up by mainstream outlets: some favourably, including Sky News Australia and GB News UK, while others — the BBC, AP, and Reuters — launched hit pieces branding us conspiracy theorists. We took that as confirmation that we were hitting the mark.

However, the blocking and shadow-banning never stopped. Slowly but deliberately, the powers that be have choked off our reach entirely. Our analysis also shows that long-form written journalism is now actively disfavoured by algorithms in favour of short-form video and X posts, as tastes, and controls, continue to change.

Above all, we want to thank our readers. Your loyalty, support, and willingness to question the official narrative made Vision News possible. You shared our work, stood by us through attacks and smears, and refused to be silenced. Without you, this platform would never have existed. Whatever the future holds, we are proud to have stood with readers who value truth, free speech, and independent thought.
