The Wall Street Journal is reporting new U.S. intelligence that three researchers from the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) sought hospital care in November 2019 for possible COVID-19, a month before China reported the first cases of COVID-19 on December 8th. Reuters reports:
The newspaper (WSJ) said the previously undisclosed report, which provides fresh details on the number of researchers affected, the timing of their illnesses, and their hospital visits – may add weight to calls for a broader investigation into whether the COVID-19 virus could have escaped from the laboratory. The Journal said current and former officials familiar with the intelligence expressed a range of views about the strength of the report’s supporting evidence, with one unnamed person saying it needed “further investigation and additional corroboration.”
This new evidence further points to the virus being leaked from the Wuhan lab, despite the World Health Organisation's claims that it happened naturally. To accept the WHO's version of events 2 different species of Bat would have had to come into contact with each other, despite not living in the same regions, exchange bodily fluids, then come into contact with a Pangolin and do much the same, before then flying over 1000 miles north from where the nearest bat species lives, to arrive at Wuhan and deposit the resulting biological soup on the doorstep of the very lab that was studying bat viruses anyway.
Yeah, that all seems legit.
At the start of the pandemic, the lab leak hypothesis was dismissed as a “conspiracy theory” by many scientists and much of the mainstream press. Since then, however, more and more evidence has emerged that casts doubt on the alternative, natural origin theory. What is known is that the Wuhan Lab in question was running a process called 'gain of function experiments' where they genetically spliced different bat coronaviruses together to "improve" their transmissibility and potency. This, they said, was in order to find ways to cure them if they developed in nature, although American Intelligence agencies have previously stated that it was more likely to be for the development of biological weapons.
The Wuhan lab was previously guilty of a possible leak and an investigation by the WHO found that they were an accident waiting to happen. The piece of theatre the World Health Organisation laughingly called an investigation for the current shit-show failed to convince anyone that China, and the WHO themselves, aren't attempting to cover-up what really happened.
It is all pointing towards the virus leaking from the Wuhan lab, with three of the very scientists who worked in the lab all hospitalised by an unknown pathogen with symptoms resembling that of Covid-19 a full month before China reported the first cases it is looking like the US have just found the smoking gun.
