Should China Be Held Accountable for Coronavirus?

There is a growing anger right across the world over the Coronavirus outbreak with increasing calls to hold China accountable for the Pandemic. President Trump has been very vocal about his thoughts that those responsible are China, and is clearly angry that the US Democrats have tried blaming his administration for the outbreak.

Now, a growing number of others, both in politics, media and social media are all calling for China to be held specifically responsible for the outbreak. Some are even calling for the head of WHO, Tedros Adhanom, to also face accountability charges over his handling of the crisis.

The World Health Organisation, the US Democrats, and British Labour Party have all claimed calling it the 'Wuhan Virus' is racist, even though it originated from there, confirmed by China authorities.

This is not the first time such a deadly virus has originated from China. H7N9 (bird flu) Originated from China (caused by infected poultry) , and SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome) Caused by another animal reservoir (possibly Bats) also originated from China.

WHO states:

SARS coronavirus (SARS-CoV) – virus identified in 2003. SARS-CoV is thought to be an animal virus from an as-yet-uncertain animal reservoir, perhaps bats, that spread to other animals (civet cats) and first infected humans in the Guangdong province of southern China in 2002.

This follows a very similar path to the Coronavirus (Covin-19), this is FACT, not racism.

Britain has been put on a 'War Footing' and this could potentially bankrupt the nation if it goes on for any length of time. China may need to shoulder a great proportion of that responsibility.
