Frontiers in Public Health has published a peer-reviewed study of Covid mortality outcomes proving beyond all doubt that all of the efforts governments have put into this, and the pain they have made us go through, has had no effect on mortality outcomes. None; Zilch; Nanda; Zero; Nill; Null; Nought.
The study of outcomes from 188 countries around the globe concluded Countries that already experienced a stagnation or regression of life expectancy, with high income and NCD rates, had the highest price to pay. This burden was not alleviated by more stringent public decisions. Inherent factors have predetermined the COVID-19 mortality: understanding them may improve prevention strategies by increasing population resilience through better physical fitness and immunity.
In layman's terms we've all been wasting our time. We've wrecked the economy, forced society into a dystopian existence that, a mere twelve months ago, would have been thought impossible, destroyed thousands of peoples mental health, and sacrificed the lives of every other serious illness sufferer on the Altar of Covid-19 and none of it has made a blind bit of difference.
