Demented Cambridge professor Dr Priyamvada Gopal has not only been defended by her University but has been promoted to a full Professorship, which many see as a ringing endorsement of her racist views.
This promotion, and the lack of any police action due to our biased hate-speech laws, has clearly emboldened the college professor who has continued spewing her bile on Twitter by threatening former Brexit Campaigner, Darren Grimes, with legal action because he had tweeted something she found offensive. The tweet appears to be written in the third-person, which either means that someone else is tweeting for her, or perhaps she has some form of multiple personality disorder (all of them obnoxious) who knows.
There has been no sign of Gopal rowing back on any of her racist and obnoxious views, much to the dismay of many on Twitter who have called for her to be sacked by the university.
Previously Gopal has claimed that the Porters at her college were 'all racist', and went on strike due to it, and has suggested that she is a hero for resisting the urge to kneecap white men.
A petition calling for Gopal's dismissal was deleted by Change.org after it received 20,000 signatures. It's unlikely the petition would have been successful anyway, as the university has applauded Gopal's sick behaviour despite previously dismissing Noah Carl after 500 academics signed a letter challenging Carl’s research on race and intelligence.
The institution also previously rescinded its offer of a visiting fellowship to Jordan Peterson after a woke mob complained about his stance on political correctness and after he appeared in a photograph with a man wearing a t-shirt that said “I’m a proud Islamophobe.”
